Linux : Debug using watch command


Hi, we can watch a process or a folder or execute a program periodically and get the output. This  will help us to examine certain activities.

Here, the notion is to watch a folder “Test” it will shown detailed report what’s going on in particular situation.

Example:

watch  -d  ls -l

Notes:

           watch – the command; -d specify the directory; ls -l specifies the current directory. upon executing the command the watch throw detailed report abou the activities in the current directory “Test”.
